The Faculty of Science, in partnership with Career Development and Experiential Learning, employs a Science Career Development Coordinator. This role is designed to help science students with career exploration, facilitate career-related workshops, assist students in their job search and educate them about work and volunteer experience available on campus.
ScienceM@tters is a national award winning program for undergraduate science students beyond first year who are looking for help in preparing for a career and could benefit from career guidance from experienced science alumni.
ScienceM@tters is a voluntary program. It consists of 10 hours of regularly scheduled career development sessions and a minimum of 5 contact hours matched with a Memorial B.Sc. Alumni. The weekly sessions explore topics such as resume building, job search and networking, interview skills, and social media.
