CNC and Manual Machining

Our highly skilled machinists design, fabricate and repair specialized precision equipment for research, teaching and general plant functions. Our CNC milling centers with 5th axis capability and our CNC lathe permit the manufacture of many precision parts. There are three machine shops on campus. One is located in the Chemistry and Physics Building, one in the S. J. Carew Building and the other is in the Health Sciences Center. We also offer manual machining services which includes milling, turning and grinding as well as equipment repair, setup and calibration.
