Ms. Keating is enjoying a successful career as an engineer in the oil and gas industry, with more than 17 years’ experience. She started work on the Hibernia Project in 1997, and held a variety of leadership positions throughout the Terra Nova development from engineering design through to construction, commissioning, production operations and field development. She is currently director of projects with the Cahill Group of Companies, and is the project manager for the Hebron Living Quarters project. She is a registered member of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador and holds Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation.
Ms. Keating is active in the community as founding member of the International Women’s Forum Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter, mentor in the 150 Years Mentorship Program, and chair of the St. John’s Board of Trade, to name just a few of her volunteer activities.
