Mr. Mahoney has been practicing law with the firm McInnes Cooper since 1993 and serves as regional lead partner. His law practice covers all areas of labour and employment law. He provides strategic advice to employers and represents federal and provincial employers in collective bargaining, arbitrations, labour relations and human rights proceedings, as well as occupational health and safety. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada since 2006 and is a leading practitioner in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Dictionary.
Mr. Mahoney is past chair of the St. John’s Board of Trade, an employer representative on the Provincial Labour Management Arbitration Committee, member of the National Advisory Committee for Queen’s University Centre for Workplace Excellence and the Public Service Awards of Excellence Committee.
