Cathy Duke has been the CEO of Destination St. John's for the last six years. Previous experience includes working for four years as Deputy Minister with the provincial government, eight years as President of the Terra Nova Golf Resort and the Clarenville Inn, two years as Executive Director of Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador, and two years as Vice-President of Coastal Associates and Consultants Ltd.

Current board appointments include the Faculty of Business Administration Advisory Board, St. John's Sports and Entertainment, the Tourism Industry Association of Canada and the Destination Marketing Association of Canada. Ms. Duke also serves as Vice-Chair of the Stella Burry Foundation Board of Directors.
