Winter 2018 update on implementation of the Harriet Lewis Report

Since July 2017 work has been ongoing to review and implement the recommendations contained in the Harriet Lewis report on governance culture and practices at Memorial. A number of the recommendations have already been implemented as of March 23, 2018, while others require further consideration or have planned implementation dates during 2018. The attached spreadsheet shows which groups are responsible for implementation and a current status update on each. A further update will be issued to the university community later in 2018 as the work progresses.

Winter 2017 update

In December 2016, the Board of Regents announced that a governance review would be undertaken by an external reviewer experienced in university board governance. That review is now underway and related materials will be made available on this web page.
