The 2009 22th Subjective Probability, Utility and Decision Making Conference will be held in Rovereto (Italy) at the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences on August, 23-27, 2009.

The Fourth International Conference on Investigative Interviewing

The conference will be held at the École Militaire (Military School) to Brussels (Belgium) from June 28th to July 1st 2010. The theme of the conference is "Interviewing: Written or to be Written Scenario?". The Website for the official announcement is now open: CLICK HERE

The conference will be in three languages: French, Netherlands, and English. Only plenary session (main conference) will be with translations.



The 2010 AP-LS Conference will take place on March 18-20, 2010 in Vancouver, Canada. More information about the conference will soon be posted.

The 2011 International Conference for AP-LS, the European Association of Psychology and Law, and the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law is scheduled to be held in Miami, Florida from March 1st to 6th, 2011, at the Miami Regency Hyatt.


Society for Police & Criminal Psychology

The 35th Annual Conference of the Society for Police & Criminal Psychology will be held at the Hilton Hartford, 315 Trumbull Street, Hartford, CT 06103, October 28-November 1, 2009. The number for the hotel in Hartford is 860-728-5151. A special conference rate is available for the nights of October 28 through 31. The rate is $139/night plus tax. A kickoff dinner will be held on Wednesday, October 28. The scientific sessions will be Thursday, October 28 through Saturday October 31.



3rd iIIRG Annual Conference 2010


International Investigative Interviewing Research Group

The 3rd iIIRG Annual Conference takes place from 22 - 24 June, 2010, at the Norwegian Police University College Conference Centre, in Stavern, Norway.

Conference theme: Evaluation and effectiveness of investigative interviewing: a multi-disciplinary approach.

This conference will be of interest to all professionals involved in investigative interviewing of suspects, witnesses or victims, those involved in interview training and policy, interview decision making processes, detecting deception and forensic linguistics.
