PROCEDURE TO HAVE PRIOR SERVICE RECOGNIZED FOR VACATION ENTITLEMENT

  

The employee makes a written request to his/her department head using the Request and Waiver form application and attaches reasonable proof of his/her years of prior service.

This request is then forwarded by the Department Head to the Department of Human Resources.

The Department of Human Resources processes the request and notifies the employee in writing as to whether or not the prior service will be recognized.

Human Resources will make any necessary adjustments to vacation entitlement effective the date of receipt of the written request.
