Recently Board-approved Policies:
At its meeting on July 7, 2011, the Board of Regents adopted a revised Smoking Policy, effective August 1, 2011.
As well, following the Board's adoption of its renewed committee structure, approval was given for revisions to two other Policies, effective immediately:
- Development, Approval and Administration of University Policies whereby the Policy Oversight Committee of the Board of Regents is dissolved and the role of the Vice-Presidents' Council re policy is established.
- Establishment of Permanent Positions whereby approval for the establishment of non-academic permanent positions moves from the Board of Regents to the Vice-Presidents' Council.
