Board of Regents adopts more policies

At its meeting on March 31, 2009, the Board of Regents adopted two policies – Alcohol and Conflict of Interest. The Alcohol policy and its related procedures formalize many of the alcohol-related practices put in place in recent years. The Conflict of Interest policy, replacing the former Conflict of Interest (Guidelines), has a broadened scope. Since it addresses employment of relatives situations, the Employment of Relatives policy has been revoked.

Both policies – Alcohol and Conflict of Interest - have been posted to the University's policy website at (use the Browse feature on the left) and both come into effect immediately. The associated Implementation and Communications plans will be executed in the coming weeks.
