Board of Regents adopts more policies
At its meeting on March 31, 2009, the Board of Regents adopted two policies – Alcohol and Conflict of Interest. The Alcohol policy and its related procedures formalize many of the alcohol-related practices put in place in recent years. The Conflict of Interest policy, replacing the former Conflict of Interest (Guidelines), has a broadened scope. Since it addresses employment of relatives situations, the Employment of Relatives policy has been revoked.
Both policies – Alcohol and Conflict of Interest - have
been posted to the University's policy website at http://www.mun.ca/policy (use the
Browse feature on the left) and both come into effect immediately.
The associated Implementation and Communications plans will be
executed in the coming weeks.
