Update from Policy Oversight Committee
At is meeting earlier this month, the Policy Oversight Committee of the Board of Regents agreed to recommend to the Board the adoption of the Alcohol policy, the adoption of the revised Conflict of Interest policy (was originally a set of guidelines) and the revocation of the Employment of Relatives policy.
As well, at that meeting a number of University governance issues were discussed including a draft set of bylaws for the Board of Regents. This draft will go forward for the full Board's consideration at its meeting on March 31, 2009.
