Funding for Research on Healthy Aging NL-HARP 2012-2013
The Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Applied Health Research is pleased to announce that research funding is now available under the 2012-2013 Newfoundland and Labrador Healthy Aging Research Program (NL-HARP).
NL-HARP is funded by the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Health and Community Services (DHCS) and administered by NLCAHR. Up to $200,000 will be awarded this year in student awards, faculty awards, and research grants, as follows:
Faculty Awards and Research Grants
CIHR-NLCAHR Research Synthesis Grants of up to $15,000
Data Inventory Report Grants of up to $15,000
Project Grants of up to $40,000
Seed Grants of up to $20,000
Faculty Retraining Awards of up to $20,000
Faculty Course Buyout Grants of up to $5,000 per course
Fellowships and Student Awards
Master's Research Grants of up to $5,000
Doctoral Research Grants1 of up to $10,000
Doctoral Dissertation Awards of up to $30,000 per year
Post-Doctoral Fellowships1 of up to $50,000 per year
