Comprehensive Examination

The Ph.D. Comprehensive Examination shall be administered and evaluated in accordance with General Regulations, Comprehensive Examinations. The examination shall consist of three written parts: a four-hour examination in the student’s area of concentration and two three-hour examinations in two of the Department’s research clusters (Metaphysics and its History, Kant and Continental Philosophy, and Ethics and Social and Political Philosophy).
