Joe Brown BBQ and Auction in Support of AAC Students
 

This year, the name of the annual student BBQ has been changed to honour a great contributor to the AAC and a faithful participant of this event in past years.  The BBQ will be combined again this year with a Silent Auction in support of the AAC Student Endowment Fund (SEF).  The SEF is an important source of funds for student travel awards for attendance at the conference, as well as the AAC student scholarship program.

The original Joe Brown T- Shirt Auction that took place last year helped raise funds for the Memorial University Dr. Joe Brown Scholarship.

This year, two of Joe's shirts will be up for bids to benefit the AAC students: one On-line and the other at the Silent Auction.

The Silent Auction T-shirt will be on display at the conference and up for bids at the Joe Brown BBQ. In keeping with Joe’s irreverent approach to organized events, the Silent Auction T-shirt will be auctioned off in the loudest and most boisterous manner possible. As with any of the auction items, bid often, bid high and feel free to leave your money on the table even if you’re not the successful bidder. It all goes to a good cause.

Receipts for charitable donations will be available on request through the AAC.
