More about Lynn Cooze
Lynn is an assistant professor at the School of Nursing. Her nursing background is in the pediatric/neonatal area. She is involved in the clinical and classroom teaching of second and third year students in Pediatrics and Women’s Health.
Lynn has been at MUN since 1999. She started at Memorial as lab instructor and completed her masters degree in 2005. She previously worked for 14 years in pediatrics and neonatology at the Janeway and Grace Hospitals.
Lynn is a St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program volunteer. She recently completed an evaluation of the Janeway Therapy Dog Program and had a poster presentation on the topic at the 2010 Nursing Research Day. She is a member of the curriculum team (and a faculty associate) for the Patient Safety Module for IPE. Lynn is also one of the authors of a journal article about a module development coming out in an upcoming edition of Healthcare Quarterly.
