An afternoon concert showcasing young, promising fiddlers and performers.

"FLORENCE"

Monday, August 4th , Lunchtime at the St. John's Arts and Culture Centre

Performed by dancer/actor Louise Moyes, this multi-media, one-woman show recreates the life of storyteller, musician and dancer Florence Leprieur, aged 94, from the province's Port-au-Port Peninsula.

Cost: $12 - Adults and $6 - Seniors & Youth

SOUP AND SCANDANAVIA

Tuesday, August 5th , Lunchtime at Cochrane Street United Church

A concert of music from Norway, Denmark and Sweden, followed by a light lunch provided by the men and women of historic Cochrane St. United Church. Featuring Haugaard and Høirup, Owe Ronström, Karin Eriksson, Mats Nilsson, Ingegerd Sigfridsson and Trent Bruner.

Admission $20, Lunch included!

LASTING LEGACY CONCERT

Friday, August 8th at 4:00pm at the D.F. Cook Recital Hall

A concert featuring fiddlers from all around Newfoundland and Labrador. Fiddlers will include Ed Lear, Karen Iny, Evelyn Osborne, Rendell Mercer and others.


Admission By Donation at the Door

All proceeds from this event will go towards the newly formed Provincial Fiddlers Association.
