Prescription drug coverage appeals subcommittee reminder:
You are reminded that there is a special authorization appeals
subcommittee that will consider appeals from employees and retirees
who have had coverage declined by Blue Cross for a special
authorization drug under the health plan. The subcommittee is made
up of members of the University Benefits committee and medical
professionals within the university community and appeals are
considered on a strictly confidential basis. More information is
