Kelly Penton

Kelly is a recent graduate of Memorial University's Business
Program. Kelly began work at the Mathematics Learning Centre (MLC)
as a Teaching Assistant (TA) trainee in the Spring Semester of 2003
and worked as a TA for the Fall 2003 and Winter 2004 semesters.
Kelly continued at the MLC by completing the Junior Instructor (JI)
training during the Spring 2004 semester. Kelly worked the
following Fall semester (2004) as a JI and was then asked to become
a Part-Time Undergraduate Student Instructor for Math 10XF courses
during the Winter 2005 semester. Kelly continued as a Part-Time
Undergraduate Student Instructor until the last semester of her
undergraduate degree, then upon graduation was offered a one-year
contract for a full time position as an Instructional Assistant
with the MLC. Kelly’s work at the MLC consists of instructing
one Math 10XF class each semester and organizing and managing
various creative and marketing activities.
