March 4: Martha attended a Newfoundland and Labrador Studies meeting.

March 5: Martha attended an Engage Memorial meeting.

March 10: The Labrador Institute held it’s monthly staff meeting.

March 10-14: For the planning salmon samples collection in Lake Melville, Marie Clément and Jonathan Pearce met with several partners, including Ed Tuttauk (Sivunivut Inuit community chairperson), Dean McLean and Joseph Townley (Nunatsiavut conservation officers), Richard Nuna (Innu Nation),Tony Chubb and Hollis Yetman (Labrador Hunting and Fishing Association), Aaron Dale and Julie Whalen (Torngat secretariat), and Rebecca Poole, Wayne King and Corey Elson from DFO.

March 11: Martha took part in meetings about the Inuit B.Ed. program.

March 12: Marie Clément and Jonathan Pearce conducted a public presentation in North West River entitled "Sustaining an Atlantic salmon fishery in Labrador". This presentation can be viewed on our webpage: http://www.mun.ca/labradorinstitute/features.php?id=3228

March 13: Martha, Karen and Morgon met to discuss and update the LI Project Inventory.

March 13: Martha attended an Advancement Council meeting.

March 14: Martha attended the final Board of Governor’s meeting for the project: Understanding the Past to build the future.

March 14: Ron participated in the application review process for the David Curran Award for Memorial University Undergraduate Students http://www.mun.ca/harriscentre/funding/curran/

March 14 & 15: Marie and Doreen attended module #3 of the Masters Certificate in Project Management Program.

March 18-20- Sylvia attended the National Indigenous Teacher Education Symposium at the University of Alberta.
