University of the Arctic
The University of the
Arctic is a network of universities and colleges interested in
circumpolar studies. Memorial, through the efforts of the
Institute, became a member in 2006 and LI hopes to build on this
membership and work towards offering a Bachelor of Circumpolar
Studies. Programs which allow students to study at another member
institution at Memorial’s tuition rate, as well as the field
school program, provide opportunities to increase future
programming in Labrador.
