Dr. Ross Elliott
Dr. Ross Elliott is Director of the Western School District in
the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. His research
involvements have included work on the role of school districts,
effective district practices, program implementation,
organizational learning, and educational leadership. He is an
associate member of the Centre for Leadership Development at OISE,
University of Toronto, Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of
Education, Memorial University of Newfoundland, and has taught
graduate courses in school improvement and educational
leadership.
Dr. Elliott has presented papers at various national and international conferences and his published work includes research on organizational learning in schools and school districts. In the CURA project, he will be involved with the use of new and emerging technologies in school districts.
