Wired Access on Campus

 Wired Network

Office, Lab and Classroom Wired Networks

Network wall plates are located in most offices, laboratories, and classrooms for use by faculty, staff and students across campus.

To connect to Memorial's wired network in those locations, please complete the Network Service Request Form.

Residence Wired Network

Upgrades to the wired network in residence are scheduled for the summer of 2017. The current wired network is being replaced with new equipment which will provide a better service to those living on campus. During the transition phase, network access using a wired network port in residence bedrooms will not be available. Clients are asked to use wireless as an alternative during this time.

Step 1. Know your MUN Login credentials

As a Memorial student, you'll need your MUN Login credentials to access the wired network. New students must create a MUN Login account.

If you already have an account and haven’t changed your MUN Login password since May 11, 2016, you will need to do so before accessing the wired network.

Step 2. Set up your computer

Follow the appropriate guide to set up your computer to access the wired network.
