New phishing attacks circulating

Computing and Communications wishes to advise the university community of yet more phishing attacks in circulation. Clients are reminded that Computing and Communications will never ask account holders to supply their usernames and passwords via e-mail. As such, clients should never reply to or follow links appearing in such messages, regardless of how legitimate they may appear. Account holders who have done either and fear they may have divulged their username and password should change their password immediately and contact the Computing and Communications' Service Desk (x4595, help@mun.ca) for assistance.
