Law and Society Major - Regulations
- Students who major in Law and Society shall complete all the
requirements of the Bachelor of Arts program.
- Students who major in Law and Society shall complete a minimum
of 36 credit hours in courses which shall include the following
Core Courses: LWSO 2000 & LWSO 4000
- Students are required to complete an additional 30 credit hours
in at least 3 different disciplines and chosen from the course list including:
- 9 credits at the 1000 or 2000 level
- 15 credits at the 3000 level
- 6 credits at the 4000 level
- Before registering for any LWSO 4000 level course, students
must complete 18 of the 36 credit hours required for the major
including Law and Society 2000. In exceptional circumstances, the
coordinator may waive this prerequisite.
- Students majoring in Law and Society may use the courses they
complete to meet the requirements of either the Law and Society
major or of their single-discipline major or minor but not
both.
