Barr'd Islands - Folklore and Folklife

Bill Godwin discusses folk life and social mores as they were in the outport of Barr'd Islands in the past. This includes work that was done raising vegetables, cutting and hauling wood, building homes, as well as leisure time spent telling ghost stories and other tales. He also discusses various folk practices and beliefs such as farming and signs of good or bad luck.
