MANAGER OF ACCREDITATION
(Contractual Position to August 19, 2019)
Reporting to the Dean, the Manager of Accreditation provides oversight and leadership in the maintenance of existing accreditation designations and contributes to the enhancement of the teaching and learning environment in the Faculty of Business Administration. Duties include providing leadership and support for ongoing accreditation activities including report preparation, survey completion, document control, and records maintenance for all aspects of accreditation; providing leadership of and support for the collection, maintenance, and analysis of measures of Faculty performance and success; ensuring all academic programs are in compliance with accreditation standards in terms of faculty qualifications and learning outcomes; monitoring emerging accreditation standards to ensure on-going compliance and continuous improvement; introducing new processes/procedures to address new standards; identifying opportunities for improvements in teaching and learning environment based on Assurance of Learning results; supporting Associate Deans and Program Directors as necessary to ensure all programs and teaching resources are compliant with accreditation standards; supporting Associate Deans and Program Directors as necessary to ensure the continuous improvement of all programs and teaching resources; providing support for program review, program development, and program planning as required; assisting in the identification of opportunities for new academic program initiatives and teaching innovations; providing analysis and support to the Dean in the area of faculty qualifications as they related to accreditation standards; acting as a faculty liaison for internal (University) program reviews impacting the Faculty of Business Administration.
Experience (5-7 years) at the managerial level in administration in an academic or comparable program setting and must hold a Master's degree in business, education or an equivalent combination of experience and training.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a collegial environment is essential. Experience with AACSB accreditation practices and quality improvement is desirable.
SALARY $65,960 - $85,501 per annum (Management and Professional)
