The presitgious award is valued at $17,500 for one year and is given out to the top-ranked postgraduate applicants based on their academic excellence, research potential, communication skills and interpersonal and leadership abilities.

While at Memorial, Nick also received the 30th/25th Anniversary Scholarship from HKR / Varsity, in addition to the entrance scholarship. Nick is headed to the University of British Columbia in the fall, to pursue a MSc. in rehabilitation sciences. He will be in the Faculty of Medicine, working with Dr. Lara Boyd's team in the brain behaviour lab.
