Shock Sensitive Chemical Disposal

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is coordinating a FREE shock sensitive chemical disposal service for the week ending September 26, 2014. Our local hazardous waste disposal vendor does not have a Certificate of Approval to dispose of explosive, shock sensitive chemicals or those that may contain crystals, therefore we need to hire an out of province company to do this for us. A listing of materials for disposal must be submitted to the vendor before they can schedule their visit.

Please complete a hazardous waste disposal form and forward to Environmental Health & Safety by Friday, August 29, 2014. Please see list of common shock sensitive chemicals.

ONLY shock sensitive chemicals that are pre-registered will be accepted.
