Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Should you need to see a physican while the clinic is closed please go to the nearest walk-in clinic. If it is an emergency please proceed to the nearest hospital.
Our office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Scheduled Appointments
Appointments for physicians are scheduled Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Appointments with nurse are scheduled. Effective immediately patients are required to book an appointment by calling 709-864-7597. Appointments are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Urgent Care Fit Ins
Some time is allotted for patients with urgent problems who need to be seen on an urgent walk in basis. Walk in clinics are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at 1:00 p.m. We ask that patients restrict sameday walk in appointments to the immediate problem at hand, and book a later appointment for other issues. Certain emergencies, depending on severity, may have to be directed to Health Sciences Centre ER.
Please note there are walkin clinics around town that provide out of hours care.
Emergencies
The Student Health Clinic is not an emergency center. For emergencies patients are advised to present to Emergency Room at one of the major hospitals in St. John's (Health Sciences Centre, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Janeway Children's Hospital).
Closures
Student Health is closed on statutory holidays recognized by Memorial University.
