A suite of twelve poems and prose
poems by Mary Dalton, English, titled All the Clubs from Holyrood
to Brigus: fictions, ruminations and riddles, appears in the
exhibition catalogue for New York photographer Scott Walden’s
series entitled All the Clubs from Holyrood to Brigus. The
exhibition opened at the Sir Wilfred Grenfell College Art Gallery
in early November. Edited by Charlotte Jones, the catalogue also
contains an essay on Walden's photography by Gordon Laurin. The
project was supported by the Canada Council for the Arts.
Dr. Dale Corbett, a professor of Neurosciences and a Tier I Canada Research Chair in Stroke and Neuroplasticity in the Faculty of Medicine, published a review article with co-author Dr. Timothy Murphy, University of British Columbia, titled Plasticity during stroke recovery: from synapse to behaviour in the November issue of Nature Reviews in Neuroscience, the leading monthly review journal in neuroscience.
