Notable
Dr. Christopher Kovacs, Medicine, took second place in the Locus
Award for Best Collection of 2009 for the set of books that he
edited and wrote a biography and story annotations, The Collected
Stories of Roger Zelazny, Volumes 1-6. The award is given on the
basis of voting by the readership of science fiction and fantasy.
The winner was announced on June 26 at the Locus Awards Banquet,
held at the Science Fiction Hall of Fame and Museum in Seattle.
