Edith Muriel (nee Tucker) Ash
Edith Ash, a staff member in the Division of Community Health and
Humanities, Faculty of Medicine passed away suddenly on Friday,
June 4, aged 51.
Bryce Benjamin
Bryce Benjamin, a student at the Marine Institute, passed away
suddenly at his home in Amherst, N.S., on Saturday, April 24, 2010,
aged 19.
Dr. Wesley Whitten
Dr Wesley Whitten, whose pioneering work in the field of
reproductive physiology made the study of pre-implantation embryos
possible, passed away on May 24, 2010. Dr. Whitten was an honorary
graduate of Memorial, and taught genetics here in the earliest days
of the medical school. He spent a sabbatical year here and his
daughter is a Memorial education graduate.
