Elevator Inspections

Elevator inspections are carried out annually by the provincial government (via Service NL located in the Motor Registration Building) under their time table.

They have access to all certificates both current and expired and should also be able to make them available being that they are public documents.

While MUN is the Owner of the Elevators, Government is the regulator and annual inspector. We are waiting on Government to send us this year’s new certificates; we have received some, but for most of them we are still awaiting Government to send the certificates. It is not uncommon to have to wait a month or so past March 31 to receive the new ones from Government each year.
