New student orientation

The Faculty of Education welcomes new students in the Intermediate/Secondary program, the Primary/Elementary First Degree program and in Music Education with a series of orientation sessions scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 5.

For Intermediate-Secondary students, the session is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in Room ED 2018B, Education Building.

For Primary-Elementary (first degree) students, the session begins at 11 a.m. in the Teaching and Learning Commons, Room ED 5006.

For Music Education students, a 3 p.m. session is scheduled in the McCann Centre (Room ED 20130B).

For first-year students considering an education degree, there will be a 3 p.m. meet and greet session, complete with pizza for students, in the Teaching and Learning Commons (Room ED 5006). This session follows the Matriculation Ceremony, 2 p.m., in the D.F. Cook Recital Hall, where education graduates will escort undergrads interested in learning more about an education degree to the Education Building. The new students will hear about the experiences of recent education graduates and from the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs.
