Server Intervention Training (Alcohol Server Program)

Follow the instructions found in the paragraph below for setting up the D2L-SIT course procedure.

As a reminder for taking the online D2L-SIT program you must first review all of the material under "COURSE HOME AND CONTENT" and then take the quiz. Please email the wellness coordinator at with your STUDENT or EMPLOYEE NUMBER and identify yourself as a Memorial, Grenfell, or Marine Institute campus student or employee. You will then receive confirmation of when your card will be ready to pick up at Answers on the 3rd floor of the university centre or for alternate arrangements.

Instructions for setting up MUN Login ID and requesting access In order to register for the Server Intervention Training Program you must be a current student or alumni with a MUN Login ID. If you take a web course, or an on campus course with a web component you already have a MUN Login ID and password. Also, if you use the service, or have configured your email for life, you already have a MUN Login ID and password.

If you have not used any of these services, you can visit and click on 'Setup your account'. Click 'I am a student' or the button that is applicable. Read and accept the "Computer Use Responsibilities and Use Agreement". On the next page, enter the information it requires. For students, this will be your student number and yourself service PIN. There is information on the right of this page for setting up your self service PIN if you have not done so already. Once you confirm your information, you will be sent to the next page where it will tell you your MUN Login ID and you will have the option to create a password. Follow the rules on the right very closely. Once created, you will be returned to the MUN Login screen. Here you can try your new username and password. If it works, you will be logged into the service and have everything configured correctly.

To get access to the Server Intervention Training Program, you will need to visit and complete a request to be added. For a current student, you will click "Current Student" and complete the form with your information.

When you get to Step 3, select "Other" under "Online Course Issues".

On the next page, do not select a course and type the following in the Request box: I would like to be added to the Server Intervention Training Program. My MUN Login ID is: {your ID}.

Once your request is submitted, you should be added to the course within 24 hours. Once you have completed the course please contact me so your card can be arranged with Answers, located on the 3rd floor of the university centre. Your card will then take 48 hours to make after arrangements have been made with Answers.
