You must first apply to graduate. The Registrar's Office will review your academic record to determine if you've met the degree requirements. The deadline to apply to graduate is January 15, 2017 for Spring Convocation and July 15, 2017 for Fall Convocation. Log on to Memorial Self Service to fill out the application for graduation.
Register to attend your convocation ceremony via Memorial Self Service. Even if you don't plan to attend, please go online and tell us this so arrangements can be made to send your parchment to you.
Pick up your academic dress at the rehearsal, 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Arts and Culture Centre. At the rehearsal, the university marshall will walk you through the convocation ceremony and explain what is expected of you. It will last approximately one hour.

You should arrive at the Arts and Culture Centre one hour before your convocation ceremony. Parking is free, but limited.
The convocation ceremony is approximately one hour and 30 minutes in length. Each will be broadcast live on the university's website and videotaped for future broadcast on cable television.
Finally, the degree you've worked so hard for... proudly cross the stage, get hooded and shake hands with the chancellor!
