Health and Safety Management System
The goal of this project is to plan and manage the implementation of a newly procured Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) from On Site Systems – Environmental Health & Safety Assistant (EH&S).
The HSMS will provide a central repository of safety information and facilitate the management of hazardous materials at Memorial University from acquisition to disposal in accordance with regulatory requirements.
This system will replace existing isolated systems and become a single central database that will be used by all units and campuses. Changes to current systems will be communicated and users will receive training to accommodate all changes to current procedures.
The new system will be implemented concurrently with the Banner HRMS system in December 2012.

- Chemical Safety
