Advisory - Malware infected Easter e-Cards circulating via email

Computing and Communications wishes to warn clients of infected Easter e-greeting cards making the rounds. Samples seen to date purport to be from Hallmark, but as per all malware outbreaks, such details can be expected to change as the attack evolves. Clients are reminded to not open unexpected or otherwise suspicious email attachments. Any client who has recently opened such an attachment or has other reason to suspect they may have a malware infection is encouraged to contact the Service Desk at 864-4595 or help@mun.ca.
