Please note: All tour groups, including school and youth groups, wishing to visit the Botanical Garden, must pre-book with education staff. This policy has been established in response to safety procedures and protocols. (This policy does not apply to family groups)

What to expect when touring MUN Botanical Garden:
While our garden isn’t the formal design you would expect from a Botanical Garden, that difference is what makes us a top destination for all nature lovers.
Our 110 acres includes extensive nature trails, a fresh water pond and of course our wonderful gardens, which include:

Join us for a Tea & Tour and experience some of the delightful flavours grown in Newfoundland.
Regular Group Tour $8/person
Covers the Garden’s history, gardening in Newfoundland basics, and tour of most flower gardens.
Extended Group Tour $12/person
Covers the same as a regular group tour, but includes all flower gardens, and a visit to Oxen Pond to feed ducks and discussion on Newfoundland ecology.
Informational Tour $15/person
Covers same as regular tour, but includes a behind the scenes look at how our Botanical Garden operates, and what our current and past research projects are.
Custom Tour $15/person
Your custom tour will be led by an expert in the chosen field, and may include walking along nature trails, hands on demonstration, and/or a PowerPoint presentation. Topics may include:

Tea & Tours
Regular Tea & Tour $16/person (price may increase in 2015)
This is a regular group tour followed (or proceeded) by coffee, tea, and a delicious treat from our Garden Café. Choose one of the following options for your group:
- Warm scones served with local berry jams and fresh cream.
- Blueberry raspberry crisp dolloped with Greek yogurt.
Nourish ‘n Nature Tea & Tour $27/person (price may increase in 2015)
An extended group tour, and an outdoor stand-up lunch from our Garden Café featuring gourmet sandwiches, fruit, and lemonade. In inclement weather, refreshments will be served in our display room.
* Private tours can be offered for smaller groups (1-9), but minimum cost is: tour price x 10 (i.e. a private regular group tour for two people would be $70).
**Please note that large groups will need to be divided into two groups. Group A will go on a tour followed by the tea, while Group B will have tea followed by the tour.
Refuel on the Move
Tour Add-On $7/person (price may increase in 2015)
Add a refreshing lemonade and a slice of whole wheat banana bunt cake, or a fruit smoothie to take with you on your tour.
