Parent & Tot Program
2015 Parent & Tot Program
DUE TO THE FALL PLANT SALE DATE CHANGE, THE FALL PARENT & TOT PROGRAM START DATE WILL BE DELAYED. REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF THE NEW START TIME.
Offered in the spring and fall, the Parent & Tot Program encourages garden and nature exploration, hiking, storytelling, and songs. An excellent opportunity for parents (or care-givers) and children to have fun together while learning about nature and gardening. A respect for nature and all its “critters” will be emphasized. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.
For children 1 - 6 years old. As in past programs, a hike to Oxen Pond to feed the ducks followed by a snack and story time will be a regular activity. Offered on Friday mornings, Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
Session #1: Friday mornings, 9:45 – 11 am
Session #2: Friday afternoons, 1:15 – 2:30 p.m.
Session #3: Saturday mornings, 10 - 11:15 a.m.
The parent & tot program is fully booked at this time. Due to the nature of the program, the turn-over rate is very low and despite an expansion in the program, there are very few openings each season. We invite everyone to drop by on Sunday for our Family Programs, which are similar to Parent and Tot, but do not require registration.
Members of the Friends of the Garden (FOG): FREE
General public: $11 per session (One adult & one child). $3 for each extra person
