The "clover-leaf" model of transfer RNA (tRNA)
The functionally
important portions of
the structure are the anticodon
loop
and the amino acid binding stem.
The
remainder of the structure serves to place these two regions
in the
proper
relation with the aminoacyl
synthetase.
