Graduate Research Opportunities
One ot two graduate student openings might become available starting September 2015 for projects on the endocrine regulation of feeding and metabolism of marine and freshwater fish. Methods used in possible projects include:
- Physiological/behavioral methods such as in vivo injections and observations
- Molecular methods such as gene expression analyses
- Biochemical methods such NMR
- In vitro methods such as microscopy and tissue culture
Lab experience with fish and one of the above named techniques would be preferable.
Candidates applying should have a minimum average of 75%.
