Social movements, environmental activism, nationalism, politics of food, politics of sport, politics of recognition, politics of reconciliation, politics of Northern Ireland... Lots of politics...
My undergraduate thesis explored the relationships between alternative food movements in Kingston, Ontario, and the social movement theories that intersect and run through them.
My graduate research is on the performance rituals of sports cultures and how they fit into the regulation of political cultures in Northern Ireland.
