Managing Partner, Noseworthy Chapman Chartered Professional Accountants
I graduated from Memorial University in 1989, B.Comm. (Co-op), and have worked at Noseworthy Chapman Chartered Professional Accountants since 1989. I obtained Professional Designations as a Certified Management Accountant in 1990, Chartered Accountant in 1991 and Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional in 1997. I am currently nearing completion of the Directors Education Program and ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. I was elected Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2004 and of the Canadian Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Professionals in 2012 in recognition of meritorious service to my profession and the community. My primary areas of service include accounting, assurance, taxation, business advisory, litigation support and commercial insolvency. I am Past Chair of the Board and member of various committees of the Chartered Professional Accountants Association, Past Member of the Board and Executive of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, Past Treasurer of the United Way of Newfoundland and Labrador, Past Treasurer of the Belvedere Orphanage Fund and Past President of the Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast. Memorial University is one of the most important institutions in our province and the education I received there has been the foundation of my career and the impetus for community engagement. I would appreciate the opportunity to give back by applying my expertise in volunteer service on the Board of Regents. I reside in Paradise and am married to fellow alumni Valerie (Hillier), B.Comm. ’89, MBA ‘97. We have two daughters, Emily 17 and Ashley 13.
