“That was a memorable day to me, for it made great changes in me.
But, it is the same with any life. Imagine one selected day struck out
of it, and think how different its course would have been.”
Moments in time. A choice between saying one thing or another. Knowing you have but one shot to state your case. For the studentson the SIFE Memorial team, heading to the Students in Free Enterprise World Cup as three-time national champions is such a moment.
Last year they placed second in the world at the championships in New York City. In 2008 they're off to Singapore to test their business acumen. Earning the title of "the most enterprising campus in Canada" is rewarding for the 26 students, most of whom are in the Faculty of Business Administration. From helping launch new initiatives in their business incubator Launch Pad, to working with grade schools to help them raise money through their "Think Green" recycling project, they're not becoming business leaders — they've arrived. Regardless of how they place in the world cup, these students have surpassed all expectations.
