Everyone Counts

Everyone Counts is an initiative of End Homelessness St. John’s. It is a community-led enumeration of individuals experiencing homelessness in St. John’s over the course of one night.

The Everyone Counts Point in Time Count will help End Homelessness St. John's (EHSJ) gather information on the demographics and service needs of the homeless population, which will inform EHSJ's Community Plan to End Homelessness.

Volunteers play an important role in counts across Canada and their assistance ‎will be critical to the St. John's count.

The count will take place on November 23rd and 24th, 2022. Volunteers must be available for at least one 4 to 5-hour shift for the count. The timing may vary based on the assigned location and duty.

Multiple volunteer positions are available based on your skills and interests. Volunteer duties may include completing surveys for individuals who are unhoused or at service locations (outreach programs, magnet events, etc.), providing administrative support on the night of the count or volunteer training, or other duties as assigned.
