Where We Are

Memorial University is located in the heart of Newfoundland and Labrador's capital city, St. John's. You'll also find our Marine Institute in St. John's and our Grenfell Campus located on the west coast of the province in the city of Corner Brook.

As one of the largest universities in Atlantic Canada, you'll find we have state-of-the-art facilities and first-rate services. Don't believe us? Read more about our campus and the services we offer to students.

While some students know exactly what they want to study at University, others remain uncertain. With over 100 degree options at Memorial University, there is something for everyone; we encourage you and your son or daughter to look over the programs we offer and see if there is something there for them!

Once enrolled, if students are still unsure of their intended degree program Memorial's Centre for Career Development has them covered by helping them find the path that is right for them. If your son or daughter is unsure of what courses they should register for during their first year at Memorial an advisor in the Academic Advising Centre can help them understand all the degree requirements for their program.

One of the most common questions that parents and students ask is "How much is University going to cost me?" You will find that Memorial University offers a quality education at an affordable rate. Still unsure? Check out our tuition and fees to see the costs for one year of study at Memorial.

If your son or daughter has the grades, they may qualify for one of our entrance scholarships for Canadian or International students. Last year, we awarded more than $2 million in undergraduate scholarships to new and returning students.

If your son or daughter is moving away from home to attend University, then knowing where they are going to live is another important factor to consider.
