The Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures is currently not accepting applications for the major or minor in Russian. For further information email languages@mun.ca.

Students pursuing a bachelor of arts with a major in Russian will normally take the following courses in their first year:

  1. German 1010 is recommended.
  2. Students intending to major in Russian should complete Language 2800 or Linguistics 2800.
