Bachelor of commerce (co-operative)

If you are starting this program in fall 2022, follow the sample first year for Business One.

Students pursuing a bachelor of commerce (co-operative) degree will normally take the following courses in first year:

Math 1090 or 10001 Math 10001 or non-business elective
Economics 10102 Economics 10202
English 1090 (or 1020) English 1110 (or 1021)
Business 10003 non-business elective
non-business elective non-business elective
  1. Selection of a mathematics course depends on your background and ability. Students should refer to the math course criteria chart prior to selecting a first-semester course. Students who complete Mathematics 1000 in the fall semester will complete an additional non-business elective in the winter semester.
  2. These courses may be taken in any order in either semester.
  3. Business 1000 may be taken in either semester.
Promotion to Term 1

To be promoted to Term 1, you must achieve a minimum overall average of 65% on the 10 courses listed in the table above.
