Each year, the Blundon Awards ceremony recognizes the significant role that our campus and community partners play in creating accessible and inclusive learning and living environments for the students, staff and faculty of Memorial.
2020 Blundon Awards were cancelled due to COVID-19.
2019 Blundon Awards Ceremony - Highlights
At the 2019 ceremony, the Blundon Centre officially launched Discover Talent, a job shadowing program targeted towards students with disabilities.
Through Discover Talent, students have the opportunity to explore careers, develop positive work attitudes and behaviours, and build their professional network, while increasing the level of disability confidence within the workforce.
The Blundon Centre would like to thank The Alt Hotel for hosting the 2019 Blundon Centre Awards. The 2019 ceremony marked the second year that the Alt Hotel has provided its beautiful venue to celebrate this special evening. The Alt Hotel is also a partner in our Discover Talent program.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to the 2021 Blundon Centre Awards, tentatively scheduled for Fall 2021. Come celebrate the current achievements and future successes in the effort to create a fully-inclusive university environment at Memorial. We look forward to seeing you there!
